Report of Abuse – Diocesan Directive for Transparency
Our diocese has directed you be informed that an allegation of sexual abuse of a minor girl was brought against Fr. Carl Johnson, who served in our parish from l983 to l990. There appears no way to investigate the truth of it, since he died several years ago. But in the interest of justice, transparency and ethics this is brought to our attention. As Catholics we pray for the healing of the hurt and the forgiveness of sins.
